New Association of Office Professionals Officers Installed at Southern Miss PDF Print E-mail

New officers in the Association of Office Professionals (AOP) at The University of Southern Mississippi were installed on Tuesday, July 20 with Melissa Carpenter assuming the title of president for 2010-2011.

Carpenter is a secretary in the Student Activities Office at Southern Miss. Chrissy Gill will serve as vice president with Delores McNair acting as president-elect.

Founded in 1974, the AOPís mission is to elevate the standards of the organization, to advance the general welfare of its members, to provide an organized means of communication among members throughout all Southern Miss campuses, to foster better relationships and understanding among members and to pool ideas, thereby promoting an overall better educational system at Southern Miss.
