The Southern Mississippi Area Health Education Center will host the conference "My Health is Our Health: Cross Cultural Sensitivity in Health Care" Friday, July 24 at the University of Southern Mississippi’s Thad Cochran Center, Ballroom III, from 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Registration begins at 7:45 and is limited to 75 people. There is no fee.
The conference is designed to benefit physicians, nurses, social workers, dieticians, health educators, psychologists, community leaders and faith-based organizations involved in working with multicultural populations. It is being hosted through a collaborative effort between the Southern Mississippi Area Health Education Center and the School of Social Work at Southern Miss.
