Southern Miss Gulf Coast College of Business Students Awarded for Excellence PDF Print E-mail

The College of Business at The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast recognized outstanding students at the 10th annual Excellence in Business Awards Luncheon May 1 at Salute Italian Restaurant in Gulfport.

The following students were recognized by the College of Business as exceptional students:

• Apolonia Acker of Waveland, Scholarship in Management Junior Award
• Deborah Young of Gulfport, Scholarship in Business Administration Junior Award
• Virginia Zitzelberger of Long Beach, Scholarship in Marketing Junior Award
• Kara Goff of Moss Point, Outstanding Junior in Accounting Award
• Heather Damiens of Long Beach, Scholarship in Accounting Junior Award
• Ashley Nalley of Biloxi, Excellence in Management Senior Award
• Caleb Stephens of Pass Christian, Excellence in Business Administration Senior Award
• Mindy Gambino of Gulfport, Excellence in Marketing Senior Award
• Sharif Kharuf of Gulfport, Excellence in Accounting Senior Award and Dean’s Award for Undergraduate Excellence
• Richard Fitzsimmons of Bay St. Louis, Excellence in Tourism Management Senior Award
• John Simms IV of Mandeville, La., MBA Excellence Award
