Members of a Rotary Club Group Study Exchange from Argentina recently visited The University of Southern Mississippi Children’s Center for Communication and Development (CCCD) during their month-long tour of Mississippi and Louisiana. Pictured in the back row are, from left, Lia Maria Belluccia, a physical therapist and neurodevelopmental specialist; Maria Betsabe Zanlongo, an international relations and communications coordinator; and attorney Miriam Caudullo, who are watching as CCCD student Mercedeez Breland, 5, of Purvis, Miss. uses a dynamic augmentative communication device to communicate while Southern Miss audiology doctoral student Natalie Wyatt, center and CCCD speech language pathologist Sarah Case-Price look on. A Rotary-sponsored group from the Pine Belt area will also visit Argentina as part of the exchange program. (University Communications photo by David Tisdale)
