The 2009 graduating class earning a master of science degree in hydrographic science are, left to right, CDR Dr. Mohamed Mahaseb of the Egyptian Navy, LT Steve McIntyre of the U.S. Navy, Michael Hawkins, Kyle English and LCDR Jeffery Dixon of the U.S. Navy. The graduates were recognized at a ceremony this summer at the John C. Stennis Space Center.
In addition to the presentation of degrees, LCDR Dixon was presented the Hydrographer of the Navy Award for Outstanding Performance and CDR Mahaseb was presented the award for outstanding academic and practical performance. (Southern Miss photo by Jamie Davis)
