WHAT: The search committee for the Vice President of The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast will host sessions for Dr. Betsy Vogel-Boze as part of the interview process.

WHERE: Advanced Education Center, Gulf Park Campus in Long Beach

WHEN: Media session Thursday, April 15, at 12:50 p.m.

SPECIFICS: The Vice President for Southern Miss Gulf Coast position replaces the Associate Provost for Southern Miss Gulf Coast, currently held by Dr. Pat Joachim, whose retirement from the university is effective June 30. The Vice President for Southern Miss Gulf Coast serves as the chief executive officer for the university’s Gulf Coast operations and reports directly to Southern Miss President Martha Saunders.

Boze, who is serving as Senior Fellow for the American Association of State Colleges and Universities, is a marketing professor at Kent State University at Stark. She previously served as the university’s campus dean and chief executive officer.
