Attendees of the "My Health is Our Health: Cross Cultural Sensitivity in Health Care" conference, held recently at the University of Southern Mississippi’s Hattiesburg campus, listened to presentations from experts and asked questions during the event. The conference was designed to benefit physicians, nurses, social workers, dieticians, health educators, psychologists, community leaders and faith-based organizations involved in working with multicultural populations. It was hosted through a collaborative effort between the Southern Mississippi Area Health Education Center and the Southern Miss School of Social Work.
