Loraine Peets Buffett Endowed Freshman Scholarship.

merit and financial need to a female student from the Mississippi
Gulf Coast who is entering Southern MissGC. The annual scholarship
will provide tuition and books. Along with maintaining a 3.0 grade
point average, the student will be required to write a 250-word
essay demonstrating creative writing ability.

Miss Gulf Coast acquired the campus in 1972. The scholarship is
now possible at Southern Miss Gulf Coast since it expanded to offer
freshman and sophomore courses.
