FALLEN GOLDEN EAGLE MEMORIAL SERVICE SET FOR
APRIL 27 AT SOUTHERN MISS

HATTIESBURG -- The University of Southern Mississippi Student Government Association will continue a tradition of memorializing Southern Miss students and employees who have passed away during the semester on Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at 7 p.m. at the university's Danforth Chapel.

The second Fallen Golden Eagle Memorial Service will recognize deceased students and faculty for the spring 2004 semester. The entire campus community is invited and encouraged to attend. Dr. Joe Paul, Southern Miss vice president for student affairs, will be the keynote speaker.

Students to be recognized at the April 27 service include Nicholas Craig Anderson, a junior from Hattiesburg; Larry Trent Hollingsworth, a senior from Brookhaven; and Tina Marie Harrison, a freshman from Mobile, Ala. In addition, the late Dr. Jesse Palmer, a professor in the Southern Miss Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Special Education, will also be recognized.
