HATTIESBURG -- A benefit for the American Humanics Nonprofit Management Organization at The University of Southern Mississippi will be held today, April 23, from 6-9 p.m. at the Peck House, 3601 Pearl Street, adjacent to the Southern Miss campus.

The benefit, called "International Extravaganza," will feature food and entertainment from different cultures. American Humanics and International Student and Scholars Services at Southern Miss are presenting this event. General admission is $7 and $5 for students. A reception will be held from 6-7 p.m.

Beenu Deuja, American Humanics vice president and a graduate student in economic development at Southern Miss, has helped organize the event. "We hope this program will unite international students together and showcase Southern Miss' diversity," Deuja said.
