The University of Southern Mississippi was well represented recently
at the Public Relations Association of Mississippi (PRAM) State
Conference 2004 in Jackson.
Rolley, coordinator of public relations at Southern Miss Gulf Coast;
and Shelia White, director of marketing and public relations at
Southern Miss Gulf Coast, together received a first-place "PRism"
award in the Specialty Report category for their entry, "Report
to IHL Commissioner." Angela Cutrer, assistant director for
news and marketing at Southern Miss, was awarded a PRism in the
Feature Story category for "An Uncommon Man." Melanie
Kemp, marketing and financial affairs manager at Southern Miss,
also won a PRism in the Invitation category for "An Evening
proud of our marketing and public relations staff who received such
outstanding awards," said Lisa Mader, director of Southern
Miss marketing and public relations. "These accolades exemplify
the quality of their work and represent the excellence of Southern
and public relations staff also garnered other awards to go along
with its first-place PRisms.
