HATTIESBURG -The Center for International and Continuing Education at The University of Southern Mississippi will coordinate an Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Conference set for Oct. 7-8 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hattiesburg Lake Terrace Convention Center.

The conference is a two-day event for educators, parents, social workers, mental health professionals and others who work with children with this disorder. The conference, which includes a variety of topical sessions and expert presenters, is sponsored by Forrest General Hospital and presented by The Pediatric Clinic, a service of Hattiesburg Clinic.

Keynote speakers for the event include Leslie Davis and Sandi Sirotowitz, founders of Educational and Diagnostic Services Inc. and now private practice consultants; and Dr. Doris Greenburg, a behavioral and developmental pediatrician affiliated with Backus Children's Hospital and Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah, Ga.
