HATTIESBURG -- From cheerleading and creative writing camps for youth to professional development courses for adults, The University of Southern Mississippi's Center for International and Continuing Education has a wide variety of programming to offer this summer.

Courses and camps run from June through July and include Universal Cheerleaders Association Camp I, June 1-4; Girls State, June 4-11; National Cheerleaders Association Camp I, June 7-10; Association Method Course, June 7-11;

Young Writers Camp I, June 7-18; Association Method Practicum, June 7-July 2; Association Method Seminar, June 21-25; Young Writers Camp II, June 21-July 2; Gangs, Cults, and Violence in the School Setting, June 22; American Cheerleaders Association Camp, June 28-July 1.

Rounding out programming through July includes Mission to Mars I, July 5-10;

Universal Cheerleaders Association Camp II, July 12-15; American All-Star Dance Camp, July 15-18; Whole Schools Institute, July 19-23; Universal Dance Camp, July 19-22; Mission to Mars II, July 19-23 and Dance Magic, July 22-25.
