AMERICAN HEART WALK

HATTIESBURG - The American Heart Walk will be held at The University of Southern Mississippi Saturday Nov 8. The event will include a three-mile walk around the Southern Miss campus. All red caps (survivors of heart disease and stroke) will begin the walk. The walk will begin on Pride Field at 9:30 a.m. We encourage everyone to arrive between 8:30-9 a.m. to register attendance and participate in the warm up. The group exercise instructors from Recreational Sports will be providing the warm up. Those not physically able to walk three miles will have the option to participate in a one-mile walk instead that will take place on the Bruce and Virginia Wilgus Trail located in front of the Payne Center. For more information on these events, contact Recreational Sports at 266-5405.
