A look at what's new in local cuisine and with the Southern Miss
Gulf Coast Research Laboratory is on tap for a "Business After
Hours" at 5 - 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18.
The University
of Southern Mississippi lab and Chef Dean Murray of the restaurant
Dinner Is Served have teamed up to host the monthly event of the
Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce, Main Street at the GCRL. Heavy
hors d'oeuvres and pastries will be served.
"We are
excited about this opportunity to partner with a new small business
in our community," said Dr. Jay Grimes, Southern Miss provost
and GCRL director. "We will introduce the fare created by this
young chef and at the same time celebrate a stellar year at the
GCRL with our friends and supporters."
Heavy hors
d'oeuvres and pastries will be served. The GCRL is located at the
intersection of East Beach Drive and Halstead Road.
