HATTIESBURG – The Frances A. Karnes Center for Gifted Studies on the Hattiesburg campus of The University of Southern Mississippi announces the cancellation of the Fall Day of Sharing for Teachers of the Gifted and the Parenting Gifted Children Conference. These events were scheduled for Sept. 23 and 24, 2005; however, due to Hurricane Katrina, they have been canceled.

Information regarding the spring 2006 Day of Sharing for Teachers of the Gifted will be forthcoming. The date for this event has been scheduled for Feb. 17, 2006. In addition, the dates for the fall 2006 Day of Sharing and Parenting Gifted Children Conferences will be available in early 2006.
