HAttiesburg– The University of Southern Mississippi Health Services will again offer the popular “Learn and Lose” weight loss program for the fall 2005 semester.

Registration is underway for the program at the Southern Miss Health Clinic, located next to Kennard-Washington Hall. A kickoff registration is set for Friday, Sept. 23, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; however, registration can be completed at Southern Miss Health Services anytime until Oct. 13.

The 10-week program begins Thursday, Sept. 29, and has various components, including weekly meetings and weigh-in sessions, goal setting programs and incentives, among others. The program cost for new participants is $25 for students, $35 for faculty and staff and $40 for other community members. The cost for returning participants is $15.
