Alpha Phi Alpha Hosting Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer Breakfast Jan. 21

University of Southern Mississippi students, faculty, staff and alumni are invited to attend the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Multi-Cultural & Ecumenical Prayer Breakfast Monday, Jan. 21 at the Jackie Dole Sherrill Center in downtown Hattiesburg. Breakfast will be served beginning at 7 a.m., with a program starting at 8:15 a.m.

Admission to this event is free and will be hosted by the Mu Gamma Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Rev. A.L. Siggers, senior pastor at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Hattiesburg, will be the guest speaker.

The annual MLK Jr. Prayer Breakfast honors the life and legacy of the renowned civil rights leader. This year, six community and business leaders will be honored at the event with awards for Excellence in Service to Hattiesburg.
