The McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program (McNair Scholars Program) at The University of Southern Mississippi is currently seeking appplicants. The application deadline is Friday, May 10.
The program prepares and encourages undergraduate students who are members of groups often underrepresented in graduate programs to pursue doctoral studies in mathematics, the sciences, psychology, education, the arts and humanities.
Applicants must be a first-generation college student and be income-eligible or from a group underrepresented in graduate education. Applicants must also be undergraduates that have accumulated at least 60 credit hours by the end of summer 2013 and have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
