Mississippi Gaming Commission Chairman Jerry St. Pé, fifth from left, is presented original artwork from University of Southern Mississippi students, graduates and faculty of the Casino, Hospitality and Tourism degree program. The piece, unveiled to St. Pé at his last meeting of the Mississippi Gaming Commission Sept. 20 at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi, was presented the artwork for his dedication to the tourism and gaming profession which inspired Southern Miss students and alumni. Artist Katherine Miller, to the right of the piece, is a senior working on her bachelor’s degree in hotel, restaurant and tourism management. Miller incorporated various aspects of Mississippi gaming and tourism, as well as St. Pé’s image, throughout her artwork. (Southern Miss University Communications photo by Charmaine Schmermund)
