Graduate Student Research Symposium, Awards Luncheon March 21

The University of Southern Mississippi Graduate School and the Graduate Student Senate will host the annual Graduate Student Research Symposium in the Thad Cochran Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 21. An awards luncheon will be held in the Thad Cochran Center Ballroom from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Presenting this year’s Dr. Martha D. Saunders Keynote Address at the symposium will be Dr. Amy Non,a fellow in the Robert Wood Johnson Health and Society Scholars Program at Harvard University, assistant professor in Anthropology and in the Center of Medicine, Health and Society at Vanderbilt University. The title of her address is “Interdisciplinarity in Graduate Education.”

Monetary awards will be presented for top-ranked papers in the university’s colleges of Arts and Letters, Business, Education and Psychology, Health, Nursing and Science and Technology.  For more information on this event, call 601.266.4369 visit www.usm.edu/graduateschool.
