The Hattiesburg Area Multi-sport Racing (H.A.M.R.’d) group is sponsoring a half marathon February 8, 2014 at Lake Thoreau Environmental Center (LTEC).
The trail race allows runners to choose either the half marathon or 5K. The event is sponsored by H.A.M.R.’d and Hub City Velo.

It was owned by Mason Leon Eubanks, a faculty member in English at The University of Southern Mississippi for 22 years and where he, his friends and others, hiked, fished, and hunted over the years. The Eubanks estate donated approximately 131 acres of the land to the University Foundation to be used as a nature preserve for scientific, educational and esthetic purposes.
The race begins at 10 a.m. with registration from 9 – 9:45 a.m. For more information or to preregister, visit http://www.webscorer.com/register?raceid=15874.
