The University of Southern Mississippi Institute for Disability Studies (IDS) will hold a workshop on fair housing at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, at the Mississippi State Extension Building at 982 Second South Street in Woodville, Miss.
The workshop will focus on fair housing, housing discrimination, the housing rights of individuals, how to file a housing complaint and other fair housing information. Refreshments will be provided.
The workshop is presented by IDS’ HousingSmart project, funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), which works to ensure equal opportunities in housing and to increase homeownership for Mississippians with disabilities.
