The Sun Herald and The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast will host the Issues + Answers Lecture, “The Rise of America’s Second Tier Cities,”featuring Forbes publisher Rich Karlgaard Wednesday, April 18, at 7 p.m. in the Fleming Education Center auditorium at the Gulf Park campus in Long Beach.
As the Mississippi Gulf Coast continues to renew and reinvent itself, Karlgaard offers his thoughts on how the 2012 elections will reshape the nation and what the prospects are for economic growth in our region and in our Gulf Coast area.
In addition to being publisher of Forbes, the world’s most popular business and financial magazine, Karlgaard is the author of the book, “Life 2.0: How People across America Are Transforming Their Lives by Finding the Where of Their Happiness,” which was an Amazon and Wall Street Journalbusiness best seller.
