McNair Scholars Research Symposium Oct. 31 at Thad Cochran Center

The 14th annual McNair Scholars Research Symposium will be held Thursday, Oct. 31 from 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Thad Cochran Center, room 216.  Students from a variety of disciplines will be presenting their research on each hour and half hour. Students, faculty, staff and community members are welcome to attend.

The schedule of student presenters and the academic areas they represent follows:

*10 a.m.                   Torrel Bridges - Nursing

*10:30 a.m.              Dawne Kennedy - History

*11 a.m.                   Helen Echazabal - Music 

*11:30 a.m.              Jasmine Whiteside - Sociology          

*12 p.m.                   Brandon Hersey - Political Science

*12:30 p.m.              Jasmine Thomas - Education

*1 p.m.                     Donald Holmes - English
