Nikisha Williams of Mobile, Ala., was recently cast as B.J. Crosby in the musical production, “Smokey Joe’s Cafe” at The University of Southern Mississippi.
Williams, a senior vocal performance major, is the daughter of Tyrone and Vennette Williams of Mobile, Ala.
Smoky Joe’s Café is a seven-time Tony Award-winning music revue based on old favorites from jazz and R&B musicians Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. The performance features 11 cast members consisting of theatre and music students.
