In honor of Hattiesburg Hall's 100th birthday, members of the campus community are invited to join the Department of Residence Life staff and residents for cupcakes and lemonade on Thursday, April 12, at 3 p.m. in the Hattiesburg Hall Lobby.
In addition, there will be a quick ceremony where staff will unveil an original plaque from the building that was recently refurbished.
Hattiesburg Hall, the University's oldest residence hall, was originally a women's dormitory when the school opened in 1912. It also housed the College Clinic, which was believed to be located on the first floor. The facility currently houses upper-class males.
