The Office of University Communications at The University of Southern Mississippi captured numerous awards during the annual College Public Relations Association of Mississippi (CPRAM) conference held May 19-20 in Tupelo, Miss.

The Southern Miss staff won awards in the senior division of the competition, which includes all of the state’s four-year universities and colleges.

“The range and number of winning entries speaks to the breadth and depth of the talent of the University Communications staff. Digital communications, graphic design, public relations, and news and media relations are all part of an effective communications strategy and team,” said Jim Coll, chief communication officer at Southern Miss. “This external recognition for work in each of those areas is further confirmation that the work done by Southern Miss staff members is exceptional.”
