The University of Southern Mississippi announces the 2013 Spring Senior Show, hosted by the Department of Art and Design in the College of Arts and Letters. Presented in three different phases and places, it features works by graduating seniors on display now through May.
Oddfellows Gallery in Hattiesburg hosts the first show, which features works in Drawing and Painting by Clinton native Kellie Grantham, Haley Ivy of Hattiesburg, Kellie Gutterman of Mandeville, Louisiana and Megan Sauls of Columbia. These works are currently on display through May 4 on Wednesdays through Saturdays, 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Oddfellows is located at 119 East Front Street.
The second exhibit features the sculpture work of students Hillary Fairburn of McComb and Ashley Mell of Yorba Linda, California. The exhibit opens with a reception on April 23 at The Art Factory in Hattiesburg and will remain open through May 12. The Art Factory is located at 100 Evans Street and the exhibit is open by appointment only.
The works of senior graphic designers will open with a reception on April 25 and remain open through May 10 in the Cook Library Learning Commons and Art Gallery on the Hattiesburg campus. Exhibition times vary with Cook Library hours.
Participating graphic design students are Katrina Baker of Petal, Christopher Diemert of Hattiesburg, Kayla Goodman of Brandon, Leslie Kirk of Irondale, Alabama, Merwin Moore of Hattiesburg, Christopher Mullins of Hattiesburg, Mitchell Rock of Picayune, Natalie Rotenberry of Mendenhall, Lindsay Stubbs of Hattiesburg, Emily Sucherman of New Orleans, Louisiana, Schonda Carey of Hattiesburg, Tristan Tanner of Angie, Louisiana, Rachael Thomas of Slidell, Louisiana and Ailrick Young of Hattiesburg.
