The University of Southern Mississippi Office of Professional Development and Educational Outreach will host a pair of customer service seminars on May 12 at the Lake Terrace Convention Center in Hattiesburg, Miss.
Each session will be offered for $85 and participants who take both sessions will receive a discounted price of $150.
The sessions are as follows:
World Famous Customer Service (Internal Customers/Employees)
This session focuses on providing employees with an understanding and the resources to work more effectively with internal customers, which leads to a better understanding of each others’ roles and responsibilities and how to solve problems in order to better serve the external customer. This seminar offers insight into how to improve department and inter-department communication and cooperation, provides resources for greater job satisfaction and improved employee morale in order to work with various personalities to achieve the goal of World Famous Customer Care.
World Famous Customer Care (External Customers)
This session is designed to give employees a unique perspective on how each of them contributes to the overall success of the organization and their own work environment while providing insight into how individuals who work together contribute to the success of a business. As a team, employees provide the type of customer service that creates a Customer Dynasty. Employees see the value and benefits to each of them as well as the company and the customer. Ways to recognize needs of each customer, how to have fun at work and how to interact with external customers to achieve World Famous Customer Care will be addressed.
