Southern Miss Student Yelverton Receives Graduate Assistantship

Danielle Yelverton

Danielle Yelverton, a graduate student pursuing a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology at The University of Southern Mississippi, received one of five assistantships with the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences for the 2013-14 academic year.

As a graduate assistant, Yelverton gains hands-on experience in early intervention with groups infants, toddlers and preschoolers while working with a certified speech-language pathologist and occupational, physical and behavioral therapists at The Children's Center for Communication and Development.

An Adams County Christian School graduate Yelverton is the daughter of Greg and Shannon Brown.
