Students in the Department of Casino, Hospitality and Tourism Management at The University of Southern Mississippi will present their capstone projects during the Historic Hattiesburg Downtown Association’s monthly meeting on Thursday, April 25.
The meeting and presentations will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Hattiesburg Cultural Center at 723 Main St. The public is invited to attend.
The students have worked the entire spring semester on developing promotional campaigns for each new microbrewery – Gordon Creek Brewery and Southern Prohibition Brewery – located in Historic Downtown Hattiesburg. The project was selected after student researched Mississippi’s Creative Economy and the potential impact the microbreweries will have in the Pine Belt area, specifically Historic Downtown Hattiesburg.
Representative from the breweries will be on hand to discuss the findings, as well as their new businesses. For more information call 601.550.5699 or email: email@example.com
