Southern Miss Theatre to Broadcast National Theatre’s production of Macbeth

The University of Southern Mississippi Department of Theatre continues as a venue for Britain’s illustrious National Theatre when it broadcasts Manchester International Festival’s electrifying production of Macbeth at Tatum Theatre Nov. 25-26 at 7 p.m. each night. 

The Shakespeare classic stars Kenneth Branagh as the Scottish king and Alex Kingston as Lady Macbeth, and is directed by Rob Ashford and Kenneth Branagh. Performances in London are ‘live-captured’ with the finest High Definition technology and then subsequently broadcast to venues the world over, allowing for world-class productions, acclaimed actors, and groundbreaking companies to be seen here in South Mississippi.
