Cleanup efforts are proceeding in earnest at The University of Southern Mississippi where an EF-4 tornado struck on Sunday, Feb. 10, damaging several buildings on the Hattiesburg campus.
Campus offices will reopen on Wednesday, Feb. 13 with classes scheduled to resume on Thursday, Feb. 14.

The tornado caused extensive damage to six buildings on the Southern Miss campus – the Ogletree House (home of the Alumni Association); the Mannoni Performing Arts Center; the Fine Arts Building; Jazz Station; McLemore Hall and Marsh Hall.
