St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Hattiesburg announced the “royalty” for this year’s Irish-Italian Festival and Parade. The Grand Marshall is Robert St. John (right), Hattiesburg restaurateur, chef and author who began the Extra Table charity several years ago with a goal to “make sure that no child in Mississippi goes to bed hungry at night.” The King is Dr. Denis A. Wiesenburg (center), provost at the University of Southern Mississippi and the Colleen (Queen) is Deles Roberts, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church Administrator.
The festival and parade will be held Saturday, March 15. Entry to the festival is free and there is no charge for parade entries.
