WUSM Concert Series Continues for Southern Miss-Louisville Game Sept. 29

The second annual WUSM-88.5 FM Tailgate Concert Series continues at The University of Southern Mississippi when Doctor E and the Mississippi Voodoo Kings perform Saturday, Sept. 29 at 4 p.m. before the Golden Eagles' football game against the nationally-ranked University of Louisville Cardinals.

Doctor E and the Mississippi Voodoo Kingsare based in Hattiesburg. This funky blues/Cajun band recently released their debut album, “The Doctor Is In” on SouthCityRecords, available at T-Bone Records in Hattiesburg and on iTunes.

The tailgate concert series is free open to the public, and is held on the Southern Miss Hattiesburg campus at the Centennial Green next to Danforth Chapel. AAA Ambulance Service, the College of Arts and Letters, iTech, the U.S. Army, Stonewall’s Award Winning BBQ, Hattiesburg Coca-Cola and The Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott are sponsors of the concert series.
