Dolphin Expert to address Science Cafe

WHEN:6-7:30 p.m.

WHERE:Starbucks Coffee Shop at Cook Library.

EVENT:Southern Miss professor Stan Kuczaj, an internationally renowned expert in dolphin behavior and cognition, will be the featured speaker for the next Science Cafe. For information call 601-266-4499.

TUESDAY, APRIL 19

Lake Thoreau dedication planned

WHEN:10 a.m.

WHERE:Eubanks Estates off West Fourth Street.

EVENT:The Southern Miss Department of Biological Sciences and the USM Foundation will formally announce plans for the Lake Thoreau Environmental Center. For information call 601-266-4499.

“Smokey Joe’s Café” continues

WHERE:Gilbert F. Hartwig Theatre.

Percussion Ensemble presents concert

SATURDAY, APRIL 23

Gulf Coast campus to host jazz/blues festival

WHERE:Southern Miss Gulf Park campus in Long Beach, Miss.
