The Children's Center for Communication and Development at The University of Southern Mississippi held its 2013 Spring Graduation ceremony on Friday, May 17 on the Hattiesburg campus.

Dr. Mike Forster, dean of the Southern Miss College of Health, handed out the graduation certificates.

A: I became the National Scholarship Officer in July of 2008.

The Children’s Center for Communication and Development at The University of Southern Mississippi held its annual Trike-A-Thon on Thursday, April 25 as a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Dr. Rodney Bennett, incoming president at The University of Southern Mississippi, addresses a large group of students who turned out for a campus cleanup project on Wednesday, Feb. 13. The student-led project was coordinated in response to the EF-4 tornado that struck the Southern Miss campus and the Hattiesburg area on Sunday, Feb. 10.

A: I’m from Dayton, Ohio. I have a BA in English from Webster University in St. Louis, an MS in mass communication from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and a Ph.D. in mass communication from Southern Miss.
