The Department of Nutrition and Food Systems combines the resources of the following to meet its mission and the lifelong learning needs of nutrition and health professionals:
The didactic program in dietetics provides coursework for an undergraduate degree in nutrition and dietetics or for completion of dietetic course requirements as a graduate student.
The dietetics internship provides the post-baccalaureate supervised practice experience in a full-time generalist program while granting graduate credit towards a master’s degree in nutrition and food systems.
The school nutrition certificate program provides coursework at the undergraduate and graduate level for people interested in working in school food service.
The graduate programs offer a variety of options for advanced study in nutrition, food service management, dietetics and child nutrition program management.
