What is American Humanics?

Watch Turning Passion Into Results, the AH 60th Anniversary Video

"American Humanics (AH) is a non-profit management certificate program educating, preparing and certifying professionals to strengthen and lead non-profit organizations."

AH was established in 1948 as an alliance between national non-profits (March of Dimes, American Red Cross, Girl Scouts/Boy Scouts, United Way, YMCA among others), professional organizations (Leader to Leader Institute, American Association of State Colleges and Universities, Association of Fundraising Professionals among others), and institutions of higher education.

Currently there are 70 universities and colleges in the United States with an American Humanics program.  The program at Southern Miss is the only one in the state of Mississippi.  More information about the national organization can be found at (www.humanics.org).
