American Humanics Certification Program

"Making a Living While Making a Difference"

Through the American Humanics certification program, students gain the skills necessary for a career in the non-profit sector. Students gain certification by:

  • Taking classes and/or workshops to complete designated non-profit competencies (see below),
  • Completing a 300-hour internship with a national or local non-profit,
  • Attend the American Humanics Management Institute, and
  • Participating in the program's student association.

American Humanics, Inc.'s Nonprofit Management/Leadership Certificate is based upon the following competencies:
