Future Nurse Anesthesia Program

The University of Southern Mississippi has received approval from the MS Institutions of Higher Learning and the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs to begin the development of a University of Southern Mississippi nurse anesthesia program. The USM Nurse Anesthesia Program (NAP) is seeking accreditation from the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs.

The Southern Miss School of Nursing is one of 10 schools chosen by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NSCBN) to participate in a landmark national study exploring the role of simulation in pre-licensure clinical nursing education.
