The Office of Contracts and Grants
Accounting's (OCGA) mission encompasses post award administration of contracts and grants awarded to The University
of Southern Mississippi dealing with billing and reporting. OCGA is responsible to the University and to funding agencies for providing the following:
timely financial billing and reporting; determining the propriety of costing issues; capturing, analyzing and reporting pertinent
costing data to administration; and finally, developing and communicating to the University, policies and procedures
consistent with cost-accounting standards.
OCGA embraces technological innovations to provide timely financial billing and reporting to our funding agencies and
to provide the University's administration with timely financial information.
