Sample locations May 5-15 This PDF documents the sampling locations used by the research team onboard the research vessel Pelican during their first expedition. It not only details the latitude, longitude and water depth at which samples were taken, it also describes the type of equipment used to collect the sample, its bearing to Ground Zero (the Deepwater Horizon explosion site), and whether and what type of oil was present.
