Located in the McLemore Hall, Room 152, the Department of Parking Management is responsible for overseeing the multiple aspects of traffic and parking for The University of Southern Mississippi campus, including control, enforcement, and coordinated maintenance and improvements of all parking areas on campus. Maintenance encompasses painting, signage, and repairs associated with traffic control and pedestrian safety. Other responsibilities include operation of the Information Booth and meter parking dispersed throughout campus. Lucy Bowens is responsible for overall front-office operations. She also performs duties as account and customer service representative and special-event coordinator. Bowens is currently the Interim Director of Parking Management. Jennifer Hatten is responsible for payroll, requisitions, and purchase orders. She also serves as system administrator, system software support, and database administrator support of our operating system.
