Special Event Parking Request

   We welcome our visitors to the university campus and want to make every effort to make this an enjoyable experience. We need your assistance in order to provide the best service for our visitors.

     Due to the numerous events (i.e., conferences, seminars, etc.) held at Southern Miss, we request a three-day written advance notice if your department desires an area to be blocked for an event. Barricades will be removed one hour after the designated beginning time of event as provided on the request form.

     We will block the requested spaces at no cost. You may choose to staff your reserved area with an employee or a student worker. However, if no one is available, our office will provide a parking attendant. The cost for this service is $15 per hour, per attendant, with a three-hour minimum.
