Visitor Information

     Visitors to The University of Southern Mississippi campus are always welcome. The Department of Parking Management wants you to have a safe and enjoyable visit to our campus. Please observe the following regulations.

     A visitor to campus is defined as a person who is not affiliated with the university as an employee, student, contractor, or vendor. This definition excludes those persons, including spouses and family members, who operate a vehicle on campus for the benefit or convenience of an employee or a student. Visitors will obtain and display visitor permits and park in legal parking spaces. All visitors must show a valid driver's license to obtain a visitor pass.

     Display your visitor pass by hanging it from the rear-view mirror support on your windshield with the logo facing the front of your vehicle. This pass authorizes you to park on the date(s) indicated in spaces indicated.

      Meter parking is provided to visitors at several locations around campus. Visitor permits are not valid in metered parking areas. We ask visitors to refrain from parking in fire lanes, handicap parking spaces, curb cuts (wheelchair ramps), No Parking areas, reserved parking spaces, and service zones.
