The purpose of this division is to
facilitate the creation of a physical environment conducive
to education and research, to operate and maintain the Physical
Plant portion of this environment, and to provide services
that enhance the use of facilities. This is accomplished
in a manner consistent with the goals, objectives, and criteria
established by the university administration and the state
of Mississippi.
The basic Physical Plant objectives are to provide a safe, secure, healthful, and enriching environment for students,
faculty, and staff, and to maintain and enhance the facility services to the university community.
