RESEARCH AREAS
Dr. Stephens is a research faculty member of the department of Physics & Astronomy and the Signal Research Center. He has worked as a geophysicist in the oil exploration industry and served as an officer in the United States Navy. His research interests are in atomic, molecular and optical physics, underwater acoustics, marine seismic sources and geophysical data processing.
