The mission of
the Marketing and Public Relations department is to serve as the
communications and marketing agency for The University of
Southern Mississippi and its key units. Our goal is to build
comprehensive, integrated communications and marketing in
support of the mission of the university and to provide the
highest quality of communications and marketing support
possible.
At the Southern Miss Department of Marketing and Public
Relations, our goal is to create an awareness of the existence and
quality of The University of Southern
Mississippi, including, but not limited to, academic and nonacademic
programs, projects and activities.
The 1,090-acre main campus is in
Hattiesburg, which bridges a two-county metropolitan area of
104,500. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - noon, and
1-5 p.m.
We are now located in College Hall on the second floor. Our
